I keep hearing my Polish friends use "ogarniać się" in different situations and I'm a bit confused about its exact meaning. Yesterday my roommate said "Muszę się ogarnąć" before going out, and she just cleaned up her appearance a bit and got her stuff together. But then I also heard someone use it like "nie ogarniam" when they were confused about something.
Is this like getting yourself together/organized? Or more about understanding/comprehending stuff? Or both? 😅
Thanks in advance!
