Polish vocabulary: when I look up both of these words they both translate as Boy so what is the difference between them?

2 answersIt can be both, but chłopiec is used more as a diminutive from boy, more for small kids let's say, and chłopak is more used to refer a more grown boy. Chłopak can also be used to say boyfriend same as how dziewczyna can be used to say girlfriend
