As a foreigner I have a problem in daily conversations, for example: asking about the price of goods, size of equipment, size of clothes, rent a house, paying bills, signing up for classes, etc.

I am sure you can help me in this way in Repeto.

Repeto is so useful for me also I have made a lot of progress since I got acquainted with Polish language courses here.

Thanks for your question. I think we will have a special Polish language lesson dedicated for this topic.

In the meantime, please find below a few phrases that you may find useful in situations you mentioned:

• Przepraszam, czy mogę... Excuse me, can I ... ?
• Czy może pan ... ? Can you... ? (to a man)
• Czy może pani... ? Can you... ? (to a woman)
• Przepraszam, potrzebuję pana pomocy. Excuse me, I need your help. (to a man)
• Przepraszam, potrzebuję pani pomocy. Excuse me, I need your help. (to a woman)
• Ile to kosztuje? How much is it?
• Niestety, to za drogo. Unfortunately, it is too expensive.
• Dobrze, zgadzam się. OK, I agree.
• Muszę się zastanowić. I have to think it over.
• Zadzwonię jutro. I will call you tomorrow.
• Przepraszam, jaki to rozmiar? Excuse me, what size is it?
• To jest za duże. It is too large.
• To jest za małe. It is too small.
• To jest za długie. It is too long.
• To jest za krótkie. It is too short.
• Czy jest większy rozmiar? Is there a larger size?
• Czy jest mniejszy rozmiar? Is there a smaller size?
• Szukam mieszkania do wynajęcia. I'm looking for a flat to rent.
• Szukam domu do wynajęcia. I'm looking for a house to rent.
• Ile kosztuje miesięczny czynsz? How much is a monthly rent?
• Chciałbym (chciałabym) zapłacić za wodę / prąd / gaz / internet / telefon. I would like to pay for water / electricity / gas / broadband / phone.
• Chciałabym (chciałabym) zapisać się na kurs. I would like to enrol on a course.
